Medidata, 185 Franklin Street, Boston, MA

This project was a part of the 44,000 SF renovation of Medidata Solutions' Boston office located on the 6th floor of the 185 Franklin Street Building in Downtown Boston. Select Spray Systems was hired to apply 25,000 SF of white Sonoglass and 3,200 SF of black-tinted Sonoglass. Thermal acoustical spray was applied to the exposed underside of the slab areas, leaving the majority of the concrete beams to remain as exposed concrete. Existing beams were protected from the spray during installation. Thermal insulation was applied at an 8/10” thickness to achieve a .75 NRC rating.
