Education First III, Cambridge, MA

This project was a part of the new construction of Education First’s, the international education company, third building in the North Point Area of Cambridge, MA. The 12-story, 300,000 SF mixed use building includes a public fitness center with a rock-climbing wall, a café, hundreds of public bike parking spots, student housing and general office space. Select Spray Systems was subcontracted to apply fireproofing materials using a variation of low, medium and high density SFRM products, as well as intumescent coatings to achieve a one to three-hour rating. Select Spray utilized 7,000 bags of SFRM material and 200 gallons of intumescent.
